Education

EthInLead® Education is where purpose meets practice; developing educators, strengthening leadership, and transforming systems through intentional, people-centered learning experiences.

We partner with schools, districts, and organizations to move beyond surface-level solutions and create meaningful, long term impact.
From one educator to another............

Purpose over process. People over programs. Impact over information.

We don’t just deliver sessions......we create experiences that move people and systems forward.
We would love to share our Education packet with you. The packet has more details about the PD we offer, descriptions, and more. For example, one of our signature programs is from "Doubt to Determination".
The R.I.S.E. framework is introduced.

The Day I Was Given the Golden Egg....
I was helping a principal friend of mine as a substitute at her school. It wasn’t my first time. As a researcher, you learn to use every opportunity in your field to observe, engage, and learn.

This day was no different.

I had the 4th graders. It was toward the end of the school year, so the day allowed for some flexibility. I asked if I could teach leadership and incorporate coaching and motivational strategies into the day.

“Leadership?” The principal asked.
“Yes.”

So, I immediately designed a 4th-grade leadership experience. Innovative, engaging, and rooted in real-life application. I used the students and their peers as examples, which immediately increased their engagement and ownership. The classroom was diverse, the energy was high, and the timing aligned with a week of school festivities.

After some time of leadership lessons, self-efficacy activities, and classroom learning, something shifted.

The principal returned, and the students were eager to show her what they had learned. They proudly shared that they were “little leaders”, and what that meant within their school community.

She was impressed. She told me to continue.

But what happened next… I will never forget.

At the end of the day, one of the students walked up to me. She shared that in her culture, golden eggs are given to someone who means something to you or given to someone who has done something good.
She hugged me and gave me her only golden egg.
“This egg is special,” she said.
“It’s a golden and it has $1.00 in it.”
Can you imagine?
A 4th grader giving me her only golden egg.

The class saw the principal after school and asked,
“Can she be our teacher?”

In one day, something connected. They asked if I would come back. I didn’t know if I could, but I knew I would never forget that moment.

I still have that golden egg.

It reminds me to keep doing what I’m doing.
Serving!
To continue affecting change on the inside of every student and every person I encounter.
